- Lead and oversee the design and execution of major capital projects within Cargill's diverse portfolio of businesses.
- Utilize technical expertise and industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions for project design and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to effectively communicate project updates and address any potential roadblocks.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and project team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve project management processes and methodologies.
- Represent Cargill and the project team in external meetings and negotiations with vendors and contractors.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Act as a liaison between Cargill and external partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records for future reference.
- Strive for continuous improvement and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency within projects.
Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Engineering And Project Management, With A Focus On Large-Scale Capital Projects In The Food And Agriculture Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field; Advanced Degree Preferred.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Complex Projects On Time And Within Budget.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Relevant Industry Regulations And Standards, As Well As Experience With Project Risk Management And Mitigation Strategies.
