- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, controls, and motors, to meet industry standards and code requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as engineers and technicians, to develop and execute plans for new electrical projects and system upgrades.
- Utilize technical knowledge and experience to identify potential safety hazards and implement preventive measures to ensure the well-being of all employees.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs, equipment testing and inspection reports, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology, and make recommendations for improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations, to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify and address any potential issues before they become major problems.
- Train and mentor other electricians and maintenance personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems within the company.
Valid Electrician License: The Primary Qualification For A Licensed Electrician Job At Cargill Is A Valid Electrician License Issued By The State In Which The Job Is Located.
