- Conduct thorough research and analysis of intellectual property laws and regulations to ensure compliance and protection of company assets
- Develop and implement strategies for protecting and leveraging the company's intellectual property assets
- Draft and review contracts and agreements related to intellectual property, including licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and assignments
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on intellectual property matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential intellectual property issues and risks
- Manage and monitor the company's patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios
- Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions related to intellectual property
- Represent the company in intellectual property disputes and litigation, including managing outside counsel
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in intellectual property laws and regulations
- Train and educate employees on intellectual property policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all intellectual property assets and related legal documentation.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Admission To The State Bar And In Good Standing.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Practicing Intellectual Property Law, Preferably In A Corporate Or Law Firm Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Intellectual Property Laws And Regulations, Including Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, And Trade Secrets.
Excellent Analytical, Communication, And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Provide Strategic Counsel To Clients And Effectively Manage A Caseload.
