  1. Perform meat cutting, trimming, and boning tasks according to company and industry standards.
  2. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations while handling and processing meat products.
  3. Inspect and grade meat products for quality and ensure they meet specifications for customer orders.
  4. Operate and maintain industrial meat processing equipment, including but not limited to saws, grinders, and slicers.
  5. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of orders.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all sanitation and safety procedures.
  7. Communicate any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  8. Keep accurate records of all meat cuts and inventory levels.
  9. Monitor and report any issues or defects with the meat products and suggest improvements to processes.
  10. Continuously improve skills and knowledge of meat cutting techniques and industry trends.
  11. Follow all company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality standards.
  12. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from customers.
  13. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
  14. Comply with all company and industry regulations and standards, including health and safety protocols.
  15. Uphold the company's values and represent Cargill in a positive and professional manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Practices: An Industrial Butcher At Cargill Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Meat Processing Industry, Including Food Safety Regulations, Sanitation Procedures, And Quality Control Processes.

  • Experience In Meat Processing: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Meat Processing Facility, Preferably In The Beef, Pork, Or Poultry Industry. This Experience Should Include Hands-On Work With Various Cutting Techniques And Equipment.

  • Physical Fitness And Strength: The Role Of An Industrial Butcher Requires Physical Stamina And Strength, As It Involves Standing For Long Periods Of Time, Working With Sharp Tools, And Lifting Heavy Carcasses And Cuts Of Meat.

  • Attention To Detail: As An Industrial Butcher, One Must Be Meticulous In Their Work, Paying Close Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Cuts Are Made Accurately And According To Specifications.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Cargill's Meat Processing Facilities Operate At A Fast Pace To Meet Production Demands, And Candidates For This Role Must Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively In A High-Pressure Environment.
