Job Description

Cargill is seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join our team and support our Plants - Protein division.   1. Facilitate HR Processes: The HR Administrator will be responsible for handling all HR administrative tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management.
  2. Support Recruitment Efforts: The HR Administrator will assist with recruiting efforts by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks. They will also assist with onboarding new employees.
  3. Maintain Compliance: The HR Administrator will ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including EEOC, ADA, and FMLA. They will also maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  4. Provide Employee Support: The HR Administrator will be the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
  5. Coordinate Training and Development: The HR Administrator will work with managers to identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  6. Assist with Performance Management: The HR Administrator will support the performance management process by tracking performance reviews, providing guidance to managers, and maintaining performance records.
  7. Manage Time and Attendance: The HR Administrator will be responsible for managing employee time and attendance records, including tracking vacation and sick leave.
  8. Maintain Employee Engagement: The HR Administrator will support employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing events and surveys, to foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
  9. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: The HR Administrator will work closely with other teams, such as finance and operations, to ensure streamlined processes and efficient communication.
  10. Stay Informed on HR Trends: The HR Administrator will stay up-to-date on HR industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and policies within the company.
  11. Uphold Company Values: The HR Administrator will act as a champion of Cargill's values by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion and supporting sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resource Management Or Related Field: A Hr Administrator At Cargill Should Have A Strong Educational Foundation In Hr Principles And Practices. A Bachelor's Degree In Hrm Or A Related Field Will Ensure That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Hr Laws And Regulations, As Well As Various Hr Functions.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Hr Administration: Cargill Requires At Least Two Years Of Experience In Hr Administration For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Day-To-Day Tasks And Responsibilities Of A Hr Administrator And Can Hit The Ground Running.

  • Knowledge Of Plant Operations And Protein Industry: As A Hr Administrator For The Plants - Protein Division At Cargill, It Is Essential To Have A Good Understanding Of Plant Operations And The Protein Industry. This Knowledge Will Enable The Candidate To Better Understand The Needs And Challenges Of The Employees In This Sector And Provide Effective Hr Support.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: In This Role, The Hr Administrator Will Be Interacting With Employees At All Levels, From Plant Workers To Senior Management. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial To Effectively Communicate Hr Policies, Resolve Conflicts, And Build Positive Relationships With Employees.

  • Ability To Handle Confidential Information With Discretion: Hr Administrators At Cargill Deal With Sensitive Employee Information And Must Maintain Strict Confidentiality. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Handling Confidential Information With Discretion And Following Data Privacy Laws And Regulations.
