  1. Operate and maintain equipment and machinery used in the processing and handling of grain and crop inputs.
  2. Monitor and control the flow of materials through the plant to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  3. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of plant operations and production activities.
  6. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and productivity.
  7. Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure that products meet company standards.
  8. Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and management to report any issues or concerns.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote a safe and efficient workplace.

  13. Represent Cargill in a professional and positive manner when interacting with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Operating And Maintaining Complex Machinery: As A Grain And/Or Crop Inputs Plant Operator At Cargill, You Will Be Responsible For Operating And Maintaining Various Types Of Equipment Such As Conveyors, Elevators, And Processing Machinery. Therefore, Having Prior Experience In Operating And Troubleshooting These Types Of Machinery Is Essential For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Grain And Crop Inputs Industry: Cargill Deals With Various Types Of Grains And Crop Inputs Such As Seeds, Fertilizers, And Pesticides. A Qualified Candidate For This Role Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Industry, Including Regulations, Safety Protocols, And Best Practices.

  • Strong Attention To Detail: As A Grain And/Or Crop Inputs Plant Operator, You Will Be Responsible For Monitoring And Maintaining Quality Control Standards For The Products Being Processed. This Requires A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Identify And Address Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Grain And Crop Inputs Industry Can Be Fast-Paced, Especially During Peak Seasons. A Successful Candidate Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Maintaining A High Level Of Accuracy And Safety.

  • Teamwork And Communication Skills: Grain And/Or Crop Inputs Plant Operators At Cargill Work Closely With Other Team Members, Such As Supervisors, Maintenance Technicians, And Quality Control Personnel. Therefore, Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills Are Crucial For The Smooth Operation Of The Plant.
