Job Description

  1. Conduct regular testing and analysis of food products to ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
  2. Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to maintain high levels of food safety.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential food safety issues.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes in food safety standards, and ensure that all products are in compliance.
  5. Investigate and document any food safety incidents, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and safety of all ingredients used in Cargill products.
  7. Review and approve new product formulations and processes to ensure they meet all food safety and quality requirements.
  8. Train and educate employees on food safety protocols and procedures.
  9. Monitor and maintain records of all food safety and quality testing results.
  10. Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  11. Identify areas for improvement in food safety and quality processes and make recommendations for enhancements.
  12. Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all food safety laws and regulations.
  13. Investigate and resolve any customer complaints related to food safety and quality.
  14. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
  15. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement crisis management plans in the event of a food safety issue.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Chemistry, Food Science, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Food Safety And Quality Assurance, Preferably In A Regulatory Or Compliance Role.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Food Safety And Quality Regulations, Including Fda, Usda, And Haccp.

  • Experience With Analytical Methods And Instrumentation, Such As Hplc, Gc, And Ftir.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Regulatory Agencies.
