- Perform chemical analysis and testing on food products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain testing protocols and procedures for various food products.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards.
- Identify and investigate any potential safety or quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any food safety or quality concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and advancements in food safety and quality.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all testing procedures and results.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Train and mentor junior team members on proper laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety and quality processes.
- Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure the safety and quality of ingredients and raw materials.
- Communicate with customers regarding any food safety or quality inquiries or concerns.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working in the laboratory.
- Represent Cargill in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Food Science, Chemistry, Or Related Field.
3-5 Years Of Experience In Food Safety And Quality Assurance, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Production Setting.
Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations And Industry Guidelines, Such As Haccp, Sqf, And Gmps.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Data.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
