  1. Perform chemical analysis and testing on food products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  2. Develop and maintain testing protocols and procedures for various food products.
  3. Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards.
  4. Identify and investigate any potential safety or quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any food safety or quality concerns.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and advancements in food safety and quality.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all testing procedures and results.
  8. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members on proper laboratory procedures and techniques.
  10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety and quality processes.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure the safety and quality of ingredients and raw materials.
  12. Communicate with customers regarding any food safety or quality inquiries or concerns.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working in the laboratory.
  14. Represent Cargill in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Food Science, Chemistry, Or Related Field.

  • 3-5 Years Of Experience In Food Safety And Quality Assurance, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Production Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations And Industry Guidelines, Such As Haccp, Sqf, And Gmps.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
