As a Food Safety Quality Chemist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our food products, and maintaining our commitment to excellence.   1. Conduct regular quality control tests on incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  2. Develop and implement new testing methods and procedures to continuously improve food safety and quality processes.
  3. Monitor and maintain appropriate documentation and records of all quality control tests and results.
  4. Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any quality or safety issues that may arise.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in food safety regulations, and communicate any relevant updates to the team.
  7. Train and educate employees on proper food safety and quality procedures and protocols.
  8. Conduct regular sanitation and hygiene inspections to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  9. Investigate and address any customer complaints related to food safety and quality.
  10. Maintain accurate inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment, and ensure they are properly calibrated and maintained.
  11. Continuously look for ways to improve and optimize food safety and quality processes within the organization.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that all team members follow safety guidelines.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on food safety and quality issues, and provide guidance to other team members as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations And Standards, Such As Haccp And Fsma.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Food Science, Chemistry, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Food Safety Or Quality Control Position.

  • Experience With Laboratory Testing Methods And Equipment.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
