As a Food Handler, you will play a crucial role in our production process by ensuring that all food products are handled and processed in accordance with industry and company standards.   1. Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines in all aspects of food handling and processing.
  2. Handle and package food products in a safe and efficient manner.
  3. Monitor and maintain proper temperature and storage conditions for food products.
  4. Inspect and report any quality or safety issues with food products.
  5. Operate and maintain food processing equipment according to company and industry standards.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  7. Maintain accurate records of product information, production logs, and sanitation schedules.
  8. Assist with inventory management and rotation of stock to ensure product freshness.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  10. Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  11. Continuously monitor and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, quality, and sustainability.
  13. Attend training sessions and stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
  14. Provide excellent customer service by responding to any inquiries or concerns regarding food safety and quality.
  15. Promote and maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and open communication.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Food Safety Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Food Safety Regulations And Guidelines, Such As Haccp, Fsma, And Gmp.

  • Previous Experience In Food Industry: A Successful Candidate Should Have Previous Experience Working In The Food Industry, Preferably In A Food Handling Or Production Role.

  • Food Handling Certification: Cargill May Require Candidates To Have A Current Food Handling Certification, Such As Servsafe Or Equivalent, To Ensure They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Safely Handle Food.

  • Attention To Detail: Food Handlers Need To Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Food Products Are Handled, Stored, And Prepared According To Company Standards And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Standing For Long Periods, Lifting Heavy Objects, And Working In A Fast-Paced Environment. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Physical Stamina And Be Able To Perform Physical Tasks Efficiently.
