Job Description

  1. Develop and implement safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and make recommendations for corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address safety and environmental concerns.
  4. Provide training and education to employees on safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to safety, health, and environmental practices.
  6. Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
  7. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  8. Investigate and report on any safety or environmental incidents, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  9. Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness in case of an emergency.
  10. Monitor and track safety and environmental metrics to measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
  11. Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure their safety and environmental practices align with company standards.
  12. Communicate safety and environmental policies and procedures to all employees and ensure they are followed.
  13. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives related to safety and environmental practices.
  14. Participate in industry conferences and seminars to stay informed on emerging trends and technologies.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Managing Health, Safety, And Environmental Programs In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Local And Federal Safety Regulations And Environmental Laws.

  • Experience In Conducting Risk Assessments And Developing Safety And Environmental Policies And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Safety And Environmental Best Practices.
