- Develop and implement effective ergonomics programs and initiatives to promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Conduct thorough assessments of workplace environments and tasks to identify potential ergonomic risks and hazards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions to reduce or eliminate ergonomic risks.
- Train and educate employees on ergonomics principles and best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ergonomics programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on current ergonomics regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analyses of workplace injuries related to ergonomics and make recommendations for prevention.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external resources and organizations to stay informed and implement best practices.
- Communicate regularly with management and employees on ergonomics initiatives and progress.
- Provide support and guidance to employees and management on ergonomic concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with health and safety team to integrate ergonomics into overall safety programs.
- Continuously seek out new and innovative ways to improve ergonomics programs and practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to ergonomics programs and initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ergonomics and provide guidance to other team members.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to environmental health and safety.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Safety And Health, Environmental Science, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Safety Or Ergonomics Related Role.
Strong Understanding Of Osha And Epa Regulations And Guidelines.
Certification In Ergonomics, Such As Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (Ceas) Or Certified Professional Ergonomist (Cpe).
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Educate And Train Employees On Safety And Ergonomics Practices.
