  1. Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures in line with company values and global standards.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Provide expert guidance and support to management and employees on all EHS matters.
  4. Monitor and analyze EHS data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and develop action plans.
  5. Train and educate employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
  7. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and inform decision-making.
  8. Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills to prepare for potential incidents.
  9. Investigate and report on EHS incidents, develop corrective actions and monitor their implementation.
  10. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and community organizations, to promote a positive image of the company.
  11. Provide guidance and support for the implementation of sustainability initiatives related to EHS.
  12. Mentor and coach junior EHS team members to foster their professional growth and development.
  13. Communicate EHS performance and initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders.
  14. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, processes, and equipment to improve EHS performance.
  15. Participate in industry associations and networks to stay updated on emerging trends and share best practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Health And Safety, Occupational Health And Safety, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Agricultural Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Environmental Health And Safety, Including Osha, Epa, And Dot.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Safety Procedures.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih) Are Preferred.
