Job Description

Are you passionate about the dairy industry and interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales and nutrition? Look no further! Cargill is seeking a motivated and driven Dairy Sales and Nutrition Intern to join our team. As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our sales and nutrition team to support and grow our dairy business. We're looking for a self-starter with a strong interest in dairy, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.   1. Assist the sales and nutrition team in developing and implementing strategies to support the growth of the dairy business.
  2. Conduct research and analysis on the dairy industry and market trends to identify potential opportunities for growth.
  3. Participate in sales meetings and presentations, gaining hands-on experience in selling and promoting dairy products.
  4. Collaborate with the sales and nutrition team to develop and deliver nutrition education and training to customers.
  5. Provide support in maintaining and updating customer records and sales data.
  6. Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote dairy products.
  7. Attend industry events and trade shows to represent Cargill and network with potential customers.
  8. Learn and adhere to all company policies and procedures related to sales and nutrition.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to build and maintain strong relationships.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow in the dairy industry, taking on additional responsibilities and projects as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Dairy Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Dairy Industry, Including Market Trends, Production Processes, And Nutrition Requirements For Dairy Cows.

  • Education In Agriculture Or Animal Science: A Degree Or Coursework In Agriculture, Animal Science, Or A Related Field Is Preferred For This Position. This Will Provide A Solid Foundation For Understanding The Complexities Of The Dairy Industry And The Nutritional Needs Of Dairy Cows.

  • Communication Skills: This Role Will Require Effective Communication With Customers, Colleagues, And Industry Experts. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Present Information Clearly And Professionally.

  • Analytical Skills: As A Dairy Sales And Nutrition Intern, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Data And Making Recommendations To Customers. Strong Analytical Skills, Attention To Detail, And The Ability To Interpret Complex Information Are Essential For Success In This Role.
