  1. Lead the UX/UI design efforts for Velocity Black at Capital One, ensuring that all digital experiences are user-friendly, innovative, and aligned with business goals.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers to develop cohesive design strategies and solutions.
  3. Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  4. Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital platforms.
  5. Mentor and guide junior designers, providing support and feedback to foster their growth and development.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design, and bring new ideas and approaches to the team.
  7. Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
  8. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
  9. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors as needed to support design initiatives.
  10. Continuously gather and analyze user feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven design decisions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Ux/Ui Design Role, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Managerial Position.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing A Team Of Designers, Including Setting Goals, Providing Feedback, And Promoting A Collaborative And Innovative Work Culture.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Design Principles, User Research, User Testing, And Prototyping Tools.

  • Strong Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Design Solutions And Strategies To Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
