  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy for attracting top tech talent from universities and recent graduates.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, career centers, and student organizations to increase brand awareness and attract top talent.
  3. Collaborate with hiring managers and leadership to understand the technical skill sets and cultural fit required for various roles within the organization.
  4. Utilize various recruitment platforms and tools to source, screen, and select candidates for open positions.
  5. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future tech roles.
  6. Conduct interviews and assess candidates based on technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  7. Create and manage a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the recruitment process.
  9. Act as a brand ambassador for Capital One at job fairs, networking events, and other relevant recruitment events.
  10. Collaborate with the diversity and inclusion team to attract a diverse pool of candidates and promote an inclusive workplace culture.
  11. Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics and the status of open positions.
  12. Develop and manage relationships with third-party recruitment agencies and other external partners.
  13. Train and mentor junior team members on recruitment best practices and processes.
  14. Continuously analyze and improve the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent.
  15. Represent the organization in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Tech Recruiting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Tech Recruiting, Preferably In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Tech Industry And Be Familiar With The Latest Trends And Tools In Tech Recruiting.

  • Knowledge Of The Student And Graduate Market: A Successful Candidates Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Student And Graduate Market, Including The Different Types Of Tech Roles And The Skills And Experience Required For These Roles. They Should Also Be Aware Of The Various Universities And Programs That Produce Top Tech Talent.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Students & Grads Tech Recruiting Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Building Relationships With Universities, Student Organizations, And Potential Candidates. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage And Connect With These Groups.

  • Strategic Mindset: The Candidate Should Have A Strategic Mindset And Be Able To Develop And Implement Recruitment Strategies That Target Top Tech Talent. They Should Also Have Experience In Utilizing Data And Metrics To Track And Measure The Success Of These Strategies.

  • Team Management And Leadership Experience: This Role May Involve Managing A Team Of Recruiters Or Collaborating With Other Teams Within The Organization. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Team Management And Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Guide And Motivate Their Team Towards Achieving Recruitment Goals.
