Sr. Risk Associate-Capital Markets Risk Advisor

The ideal candidate for this role will have advanced knowledge of capital markets and derivatives products, a deep understanding of risk management principles, and the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.Requirements:• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a banking or capital markets risk management capacity • In-depth knowledge of capital markets and derivatives products• Knowledge of applicable regulations, laws, and industry best practices• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills• Ability to apply sound risk management principles• Highly organized with strong attention to detail• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:

1. Provide independent oversight of capital markets activities to ensure all transactions meet risk management standards.
2. Monitor and assess capital markets transactions for compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and industry best practices.
3. Analyze transactions to identify risk factors and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between risk policies and business objectives.
5. Monitor and review risk management processes and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices.
6. Develop and deliver risk management training to internal stakeholders.
7. Liaise with senior management to provide updates on risk management activities.
8. Prepare and present reports on risk management activities to senior management.
9. Stay up to date on market trends and regulatory changes to ensure risk management practices remain compliant.
