- Designing and implementing DevOps infrastructure to support software development teams
- Maintaining and improving existing DevOps processes and systems
- Collaborating with software engineering teams to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity
- Ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of software updates and releases
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues in the DevOps environment
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in DevOps and implementing them when applicable
- Mentoring and coaching junior team members to improve their skills and knowledge in DevOps
- Conducting regular assessments and audits of the DevOps infrastructure to identify areas for improvement

- Continuously seeking ways to optimize and streamline the DevOps workflow to support the organization's goals and objectives.
Extensive Experience In Software Engineering: A Senior Software Engineer In A Devops Role At Capital One Must Have A Strong Background In Software Engineering, Including Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or Ruby.
Expertise In Cloud Computing And Infrastructure: As A Senior Software Engineer In A Devops Role, The Candidate Must Have In-Depth Knowledge Of Cloud Computing Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud, And Experience Managing And Automating Cloud Infrastructure.
Experience With Ci/Cd Tools And Processes: Capital One Values Candidates With Experience In Continuous Integration And Delivery Tools Such As Jenkins, Gitlab, Or Circleci, And A Strong Understanding Of Devops Principles And Best Practices.
