  4. Develop and maintain technical standards and best practices for backend development.
  5. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  6. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in backend development to continuously improve the team's skills and processes.
  7. Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  8. Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues in a timely manner.
  9. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
  10. Collaborate with product owners and project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of software projects.
  11. Manage team resources and ensure efficient allocation to meet project deadlines.
  12. Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and other departments within the company.
  13. Provide regular performance evaluations, feedback, and coaching to team members.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert in Java and backend development and provide technical guidance and support to other teams within the company.
  15. Drive a culture of innovation and experimentation to continuously improve and optimize software development processes.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Software Engineering: A Senior Manager At Capital One Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Hands-On Experience In Software Engineering, With A Strong Background In Backend Development Using Java. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Software Development Methodologies And Best Practices.
