  1. Lead and manage the international counsel team in navigating complex legal matters in the global landscape.
  2. Develop and implement legal strategies to support the company's growth and innovation goals.
  3. Provide guidance and support to the team in making informed decisions and finding creative solutions to legal challenges.
  4. Stay up-to-date on international laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide legal advice.
  6. Oversee and review legal documentation, contracts, and agreements.
  7. Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the legal team.
  8. Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for growth and development.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Legal Experience: A Senior Manager, Senior International Counsel At Capital One Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, With A Focus On International Transactions And Regulations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead A Team Of Legal Professionals And Manage Complex Projects. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Effectively Managing And Developing A Team.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of International Laws And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of International Laws And Regulations, Including Data Privacy, Anti-Money Laundering, And Other Relevant Laws Related To Financial Services.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: A Senior Manager, Senior International Counsel Should Be Able To Think Critically And Strategically, And Provide Creative Solutions To Complex Legal Issues.
