Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Data Engineering: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience Working In Data Engineering, With A Deep Understanding Of Data Architecture, Data Modeling, And Data Warehousing.

  • Strong Technical Skills: The Senior Manager Should Possess Strong Technical Skills In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And Java, As Well As Experience With Big Data Technologies Like Hadoop, Spark, And Nosql Databases. They Should Also Have Experience With Cloud Computing Platforms Like Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud.

  • Knowledge Of Banking And Financial Industry: Capital One Is A Bank, So A Strong Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Banking And Financial Industry, Including Regulations, Compliance, And Security Protocols.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: The Senior Manager Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Data Engineers, So They Should Have Previous Experience In Leadership And Team Management, With Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Senior Manager Should Have A Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Data-Driven Strategies To Solve Complex Business Problems. They Should Be Able To Think Critically And Provide Innovative Solutions To Drive Business Growth And Optimize Data Processes.
