  1. Develop and implement an information security strategy for the organization.
  2. Ensure the protection of sensitive data and assets.
  3. Lead and manage the information security team.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans.
  6. Monitor and analyze security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls.
  8. Communicate security policies and procedures to employees.
  9. Train and educate employees on security best practices.
  10. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security standards.
  11. Stay informed of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on information security for the organization.
  14. Stay current on industry best practices and incorporate them into the organization's security strategy.
  15. Lead and participate in incident response and crisis management activities.
  16. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  17. Mentor and coach junior team members.
  18. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the organization's security posture.
  19. Identify and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance security.
  20. Act as a liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Information Security: The Ideal Candidate For A Senior Lead Iso Consultant At Capital One Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Information Security, With A Proven Track Record Of Implementing And Managing Security Programs In Large Organizations.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Industry Security Standards Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Pci Dss, As Well As Regulatory Requirements Such As Gdpr And Ccpa.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Lead Consultant, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Managing Complex Projects. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Security Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build Relationships And Influence Decision-Making.

  • Continuous Learning And Innovation Mindset: The Field Of Information Security Is Constantly Evolving, And A Successful Senior Lead Iso Consultant Should Have A Passion For Continuous Learning And Keeping Up With The Latest Trends And Best Practices.
