- Lead and drive the design strategy for the Card Platforms & Data division at Capital One.
- Develop a compelling and innovative vision for the future of our card platforms and data initiatives.
- Utilize your design expertise to shape the user experience and interface for our financial services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design, technology, and business objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of designers, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity.
- Conduct research and gather insights to inform design decisions and drive customer-centric solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and evolve our design processes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Communicate design strategy and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Drive a culture of design thinking and human-centered design across the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the design team's processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and adherence to our design principles and standards.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to bring new technologies and design capabilities to our products and services.
- Serve as a thought leader and advocate for design within the company and in the industry.
Extensive Experience In Design Leadership: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In A Senior Design Leadership Role, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry. They Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Leading And Managing Design Teams To Deliver Innovative And Effective Solutions.
Expertise In Card Platforms And Data: The Senior Director Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Card Platforms And Data Analytics, With A Proven Ability To Leverage Data To Inform Design Decisions And Drive Business Results. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Cross-Functional Teams To Build And Launch New Card Products And Features.
Strong Design And User Experience Background: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Design And User Experience, With A Portfolio Of Successful Projects That Showcase Their Ability To Deliver Compelling And Intuitive Design Solutions. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Design Processes, Methodologies, And Best Practices.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: The Senior Director Should Be A Strategic Thinker With A Strong Ability To Identify And Solve Complex Business Problems.
