Extensive Experience With Python, Scala, Or Spark: A Senior Data Engineer At Capital One Must Possess Advanced Knowledge And Hands-On Experience With At Least One Of These Programming Languages, As They Are The Primary Tools Used For Data Engineering At The Company.
Strong Understanding Of Distributed Computing And Big Data Technologies: The Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Distributed Systems And Technologies Such As Apache Hadoop, Spark, And Kafka. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Large Datasets And Building Scalable Data Pipelines.
Proficiency In Database Design And Data Modeling: A Senior Data Engineer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Database Design Principles And Be Able To Develop Robust Data Models That Can Handle Complex Data Structures.
