- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential cyber risks and strengthen the company's overall security posture.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging cyber threats and trends, and make recommendations for proactive measures to prevent future attacks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all stages of development and implementation.
- Provide guidance and training to other team members on best practices for cybersecurity and risk management.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of existing security controls and make recommendations for improvements.
- Communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders to provide updates on potential risks and the effectiveness of security measures.
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses and implement solutions to address them.
- Stay knowledgeable about industry regulations and compliance standards related to cybersecurity, and ensure that Capital One remains in compliance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity best practices and provide guidance and support to other teams within the company.
Extensive Experience In Conducting Cyber Assessments And Audits, Preferably In A Financial Institution Or Highly Regulated Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Cyber Security, Including Nist, Iso, And Pci.
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Identify And Assess Cyber Risks And Vulnerabilities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Remediation Plans To Address Identified Vulnerabilities And Improve Overall Cyber Security Posture.
