  1. Design and develop engaging and innovative learning experiences for employees at Capital One.
  2. Create training materials that align with the company's goals, objectives, and learning objectives.
  3. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
  4. Utilize instructional design best practices and adult learning principles to design and develop training materials.
  5. Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to identify knowledge and skill gaps.
  6. Develop learning objectives and design learning activities that align with those objectives.
  7. Create training materials that are interactive, engaging, and promote active learning.
  8. Utilize various instructional design methods and technologies to deliver effective training, such as eLearning, instructor-led training, and microlearning.
  9. Ensure training materials are accessible, user-friendly, and easily navigable.
  10. Work closely with subject matter experts and other team members to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance.
  11. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve training materials based on feedback and data.
  13. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instructional design.
  14. Act as a mentor and provide guidance to more junior instructional designers.
  15. Collaborate with other departments to integrate training materials into onboarding and ongoing development programs.
  16. Represent the company's brand and culture in all training materials.
  17. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
  18. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as instructional design standards.
  19. Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  20. Make a meaningful impact on employees' professional growth and success at Capital One.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Instructional Design Or Related Field, With A Proven Track Record Of Developing Effective Learning Materials And Programs.

  • Strong Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Models, With The Ability To Apply These Concepts In A Corporate Setting.

  • Proficiency In E-Learning Authoring Tools And Learning Management Systems, Such As Articulate Storyline And Cornerstone Ondemand.

  • Experience Working With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers, And Other Stakeholders, To Gather Requirements And Design Learning Solutions That Meet Business Needs.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Concepts And Information To Diverse Audiences.
