The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is highly analytical and able to think critically.The Risk Manager, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) will be responsible for managing and overseeing the risk and compliance of our anti-money laundering activities and programs. This position requires excellent data analysis skills, a determined approach to problem solving, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a risk management, compliance, or related role in the financial services industry. A degree in a relevant field is highly desired, and experience with anti-money laundering (AML) laws and regulations is essential. Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of risk and compliance of anti-money laundering activities and programs.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering laws and regulations.
- Monitor and review customer and transaction data to identify and report suspicious activity or potential money laundering risks.
- Perform data analysis and risk assessments to identify potential areas of risk.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest risk management and anti-money laundering trends and best practices.
- Document all findings and ensure that all compliance-related issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on anti-money laundering requirements.
- Develop reports and present findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure compliance.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration
Finance Or Related Field
At Least Years Of Experience In Financial Services Risk Management
Expertise In Anti-Money Laundering (Aml) Compliance
Strong Knowledge Of Federal Banking Laws And Regulations
Ability To Develop Policies And Procedures Related To Aml Activities
