- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive growth and innovation within the financial industry.
- Lead and manage the IT Controls & Communications team, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure the team's success.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of critical projects related to IT controls and communications systems.
- Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of IT controls and communications systems through regular evaluations and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any issues or challenges related to IT controls and communications.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment and support for projects and initiatives.

Extensive Project Management Experience: A Principal Project Manager At Capital One Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Managing Large-Scale It Projects, Preferably Within The Financial Services Industry.
Strong Technical Background: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of It Controls And Communications, Including Risk Assessment, Compliance, And Security Protocols. A Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field Is Highly Preferred.
Excellent Leadership Skills: As A Principal Project Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Project Managers And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Proven Track Record Of Delivering Successful Projects: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Complex It Projects On Time And Within Budget. They Should Also Be Adept At Managing Project Risks And Resolving Issues In A Timely And Effective Manner.
