Advanced Degree In Data Science Or Related Field: A Principal Associate In Data Science At Capital One Should Have A Master's Or Phd Degree In Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Or A Related Field. This Level Of Education Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Data Analysis, Modeling, And Programming Skills.
Extensive Experience In Data Analysis And Modeling: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Data Analysis And Modeling, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry. They Should Be Proficient In Statistical And Predictive Modeling Techniques, As Well As Have Experience With Programming Languages Such As Python, R, Or Sql.
Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Principal Associate, This Role Will Involve Leading And Managing A Team Of Data Scientists. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills, The Ability To Manage Complex Projects, And Experience In Mentoring And Developing Junior Team Members.
