- Lead the design and development of airport lounges for Capital One, ensuring they align with the company's values of innovation, collaboration, and exceptional customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to bring lounge designs to life.
- Manage the entire design process, from ideation to implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to source materials and furnishings for lounge designs.
- Utilize industry research and trends to continuously improve and enhance the design of Capital One's airport lounges.
- Communicate and present design concepts to stakeholders and leadership, incorporating feedback to ensure alignment with company goals and brand standards.
- Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Stay updated on airport regulations and requirements to ensure lounge designs are compliant and meet all necessary guidelines.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the design team, providing support and fostering their professional growth.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Capital One, representing the company's values and commitment to exceptional customer experiences through lounge designs.
Extensive Experience In Commercial Interior Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Commercial Interior Design, Particularly In The Aviation Industry. This Includes Experience In Designing Airport Lounges, As Well As Other Commercial Spaces Such As Hotels, Restaurants, And Corporate Offices.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Airport Design Regulations And Standards: The Principal Associate Should Be Well-Versed In All Relevant Regulations And Standards Related To Airport Design, Including Safety And Accessibility Requirements. This Knowledge Will Be Critical In Ensuring That All Designs Comply With Industry Standards And Regulations.
Proven Project Management Skills: This Role Will Involve Leading And Managing Multiple Design Projects At Various Stages, From Concept Development To Execution. The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Projects Within Strict Timelines And Budgets.
Strong Communication And Leadership Abilities: As A Key Member Of The Design Team, The Principal Associate Will Be Responsible For Collaborating With Various Stakeholders, Including Clients, Architects, Contractors, And Suppliers. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For Effectively Managing And Coordinating All Parties Involved In The Design Process.
