- Lead and manage a team of product managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of modernization projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, and marketing, to identify and prioritize product development opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends, and use this information to inform product decisions.
- Define product roadmaps and set clear and measurable goals for product performance, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall strategy.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve products and drive business growth.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on the banking industry and stay up-to-date with market changes and competitor strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and customers, to gather feedback and ensure alignment on product vision and goals.
- Manage product budgets and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
- Act as a mentor and coach for team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
- Communicate product updates and progress to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Ensure all products comply with industry regulations and standards, and work closely with compliance and legal teams to mitigate any potential risks.
- Continuously evaluate and improve product management processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and drive innovation.
Extensive Experience In Product Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Product Management, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Services Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Launching And Managing Products From Ideation To Launch.
Strong Understanding Of Bank Modernization: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Modern Banking Practices And Trends, Including Digital Transformation, Data-Driven Decision Making, And Customer-Centricity. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In Industry Regulations And Compliance Requirements.
Strategic Thinking And Leadership Skills: The Manager, Product Manager Should Possess Excellent Strategic Thinking Abilities And Be Able To Provide A Clear Vision For The Bank Modernization Product Roadmap. They Should Also Have Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Product Managers And Cross-Functional Stakeholders.
Analytical And Data-Driven Mindset: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset And Be Comfortable Working With Data To Make Informed Product Decisions. They Should Also Have Experience With A/B Testing, User Research, And Other Data-Driven Methodologies To Validate Product Hypotheses.
