  1. Develop and implement data loss prevention strategies and policies to safeguard company data and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
  2. Oversee and manage a team of DLP engineers, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful execution of projects and initiatives.
  3. Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement in data security practices.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure alignment and consistency in data protection efforts.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and emerging technologies to continuously enhance DLP capabilities and mitigate potential risks.
  6. Monitor and analyze data loss incidents and provide timely and thorough reports to senior management.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources in enhancing DLP capabilities.
  8. Manage DLP budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
  9. Lead training and awareness initiatives to educate employees on data protection policies and best practices.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to internal teams on DLP-related matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Background: A Dlp Engineer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Security Principles, Network Protocols, And Data Encryption Techniques. They Should Also Be Proficient In Using Dlp Tools And Technologies, Such As Symantec Dlp, Mcafee Dlp, And Forcepoint Dlp.

  • Experience In Data Protection And Compliance: A Manager, Dlp Engineer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Standards, Such As Gdpr, Pci Dss, Hipaa, And Iso 27001. They Should Also Have Experience Implementing And Maintaining Data Protection Controls In Line With These Regulations.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Manager, This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Dlp Engineers. They Should Also Have Experience In Project Management, Including Planning, Budgeting, And Resource Management.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Dlp Engineer Should Have Strong Analytical Skills To Identify Potential Vulnerabilities And Risks In Data Protection Processes. They Should Be Able To Analyze Large Amounts Of Data To Identify Patterns And Trends That Could Indicate A Potential Data Breach.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams, Such As It Security, Compliance, And Legal Teams.
