  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for community development and financial management within the Community Finance division.
  2. Oversee the underwriting process for loan applications and ensure adherence to established guidelines and risk management protocols.
  3. Manage the loan portfolio to ensure efficient and effective utilization of funds and timely repayment.
  4. Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for new lending programs in underserved communities.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and external partners to identify and address community development needs.
  6. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of underwriters and portfolio managers.
  7. Conduct regular reviews and analysis of loan performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to promote community development initiatives.
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to community development and financial management.
  10. Prepare and present reports to senior management on the progress and impact of community finance initiatives.
  11. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  12. Support and participate in company-wide initiatives and events related to community development and financial management.
  13. Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.
  14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and strive for operational excellence within the Community Finance division.
  15. Represent Capital One at conferences, events, and other external forums to promote our community development efforts and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Underwriting And Loan Management.

  • Strong Understanding Of Credit Analysis And Risk Assessment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Underwriters And Portfolio Managers.
