- Develop and implement design strategies for Capital One's digital platforms to enhance user experience and drive customer satisfaction.
- Lead a team of UX/UI designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals, brand guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Mentor and inspire team members to continuously improve their skills and deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement in our digital products.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to continuously enhance and innovate our digital products.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design solutions that meet business requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistency in brand messaging and design across all digital platforms.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional growth.
- Stay informed about competitor products and provide recommendations for improvement to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Actively participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve the overall quality of design solutions.
- Collaborate with the user experience research team to conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback into design iterations.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility and usability standards in all design solutions.
- Represent Capital One as a thought leader in the design industry through participation in conferences, workshops, and other events.
Extensive Experience In Ux/Ui Design: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Ux/Ui Design, With A Strong Portfolio Showcasing Their Design Skills And Expertise.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Lead Ux/Ui Designer - Senior Manager, The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Leadership And Management Skills, With A Proven Track Record Of Managing And Mentoring A Team Of Designers To Deliver High-Quality Work.
Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles And The Ability To Think Strategically In Order To Align Design Decisions With Business Goals And Objectives.
Technical Proficiency: A Strong Understanding Of Design Tools And Software Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, And Invision Is Essential For This Role. Additionally, Knowledge Of Front-End Development Languages And Frameworks Is A Plus.
