  1. Develop and lead the overall UX design strategy for Capital One's digital products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and user needs, and translate them into innovative and intuitive design solutions.
  3. Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
  4. Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
  5. Ensure consistency and coherence of design across multiple platforms and products.
  6. Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their growth and development.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into the design process.
  8. Advocate for user-centered design principles and processes within the organization.
  9. Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  10. Continuously monitor and analyze user feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven design decisions.
  11. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Effectively communicate design concepts, ideas, and decisions to stakeholders and senior management.
  13. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and alignment of design with overall brand strategy.
  14. Proactively identify and address potential design issues and provide solutions.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the user experience of Capital One's digital products to drive customer satisfaction and business success.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Ux Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In User Experience Design, With A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Successful Solutions For Complex Projects.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Lead Ux Designer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Mentoring A Team Of Designers. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Expertise In Design Tools And Methodologies: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Design Tools Such As Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, And Invision, As Well As Experience With User-Centered Design Methodologies Such As Design Thinking And Agile.

  • User Research And Testing Experience: A Good Understanding Of User Research And Testing Methods Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Conduct User Research, Analyze Data, And Use Insights To Inform Design Decisions.
