- Develop and implement offensive security strategies and tactics to protect the company from cyber threats
- Lead a team of offensive security operators, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of the team's objectives
- Conduct ethical hacking and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the company's systems and networks
- Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and work with them to implement necessary changes and improvements
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and techniques, and continuously enhance the company's defenses against evolving threats
- Collaborate with other teams, such as IT and risk management, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to security
- Create and maintain documentation of offensive security processes, procedures, and best practices
- Train and mentor junior team members on offensive security techniques and methodologies
- Monitor and analyze security data to identify potential risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them
- Participate in incident response and investigation activities as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to security and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Extensive Knowledge Of Offensive Security Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Offensive Security Techniques, Such As Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, And Threat Modeling. They Should Also Be Familiar With Various Attack Vectors And Be Able To Think Like A Hacker To Identify Potential Vulnerabilities.
Experience In Cybersecurity: A Lead Offensive Security Operator Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In The Cybersecurity Field, With A Focus On Offensive Security. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Conducting Security Assessments And Identifying And Mitigating Vulnerabilities.
Technical Proficiency: This Role Requires A Strong Technical Background, Including Knowledge Of Programming Languages Such As Python, Ruby, Or Bash. The Candidate Should Also Be Proficient In Using Various Security Tools And Techniques, Such As Metasploit, Nmap, And Sql Injection.
Leadership Skills: As A Lead, This Role Requires The Candidate To Not Only Have Technical Expertise But Also To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Offensive Security Operators. The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Provide Guidance And Direction To Team Members.
