  1. Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Generative AI team, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
  2. Lead a team of technical program managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful execution of projects.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in generative AI technology and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and shape the team's roadmap.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to identify and prioritize business opportunities for generative AI.
  5. Manage the full lifecycle of technical programs, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.
  6. Develop and track program budgets, timelines, and resources, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful delivery.
  7. Identify and mitigate risks and issues, proactively resolving any roadblocks to keep programs on track.
  8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and implement process improvements.
  9. Communicate program updates and progress to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, providing regular status reports and presentations.
  10. Represent the Generative AI team to external partners and industry events, promoting Capital One's leadership in the field of AI-powered financial services.
  11. Use your strong background in AI to provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions are delivered.
  12. Lead by example and promote a positive and collaborative team culture, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability among team members.
  13. Continuously assess and improve program management processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging these relationships to drive successful program delivery.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Technical Program Management, With A Focus On Generative Ai.

  • Strong Understanding Of Machine Learning Algorithms And Techniques.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Complex Technical Projects On Time And Within Budget.
