  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy for the Line of Business Learning team to support the overall business goals and objectives of Capital One.
  2. Collaborate with business leaders to understand their learning needs and design innovative learning programs that will enhance employee skills and drive business success.
  3. Lead a team of learning professionals to create high-quality learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and self-paced programs.
  4. Continuously evaluate and improve existing learning programs to ensure they are meeting the needs of employees and aligning with business goals.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to bring innovative ideas and strategies to the organization.
  6. Partner with external vendors and resources to develop and deliver specialized training programs as needed.
  7. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  8. Develop and manage the learning and development budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  9. Communicate and promote learning opportunities to employees, encouraging participation and engagement in the learning process.
  10. Act as a thought leader and champion for learning and development within the organization, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and teams, such as HR and talent management, to align learning programs with overall employee development initiatives.
  12. Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  13. Represent the organization at external learning and development events and conferences, building relationships and staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
  14. Uphold the values and culture of Capital One, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all learning initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Learning And Development, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Experience In Designing And Implementing Effective Learning Programs.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Developing A Team Of Learning Professionals.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Various Learning Methodologies And Technologies, Including E-Learning Platforms And Virtual Training Tools.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
