- Develop and implement strategies to detect and prevent external fraud activities that may impact the customers and business of Capital One.
- Conduct thorough analysis of potential fraud incidents, including reviewing transaction data and identifying patterns or trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance fraud detection and prevention processes and systems.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest fraud trends and techniques to proactively identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Work closely with external partners and law enforcement agencies to investigate and resolve fraud incidents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a strong understanding of business processes and potential fraud risks.
- Monitor fraud metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on the status of fraud incidents and prevention efforts.
- Train and educate employees on fraud detection and prevention best practices to ensure a strong culture of fraud awareness.
- Lead and manage a team of fraud analysts, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to external fraud risk management.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communicate with customers who may have been impacted by fraud activities, providing support and guidance in resolving any issues.
- Represent Capital One in external fraud forums and conferences, staying current on industry best practices and contributing to thought leadership.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information related to fraud incidents.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to fraud prevention and detection.
Extensive Experience In Fraud Detection And Prevention: A Business Manager For Enterprise External Fraud At Capital One Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Different Types Of Fraud And The Methods Used To Detect And Prevent Them. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Fraud Risk In A High-Volume, Fast-Paced Environment.
