Capital One is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to join our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing AML strategies across our organization, ensuring compliance with regulations and protecting the financial security of our customers.   1. Develop and implement AML strategies and initiatives across the organization, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  2. Ensure compliance with AML regulations and laws, staying up-to-date on changes and updates.
  3. Analyze and assess potential AML risks and develop plans to mitigate them.
  4. Lead and manage projects related to AML, including coordinating with various departments and stakeholders.
  5. Provide guidance and support to other team members on AML related matters.
  6. Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify any potential gaps or weaknesses in AML processes and procedures.
  7. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in AML and incorporate them into the organization's strategies.
  8. Train and educate employees on AML policies, procedures, and regulations.
  9. Collaborate with external partners and agencies to share information and enhance AML efforts.
  10. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the organization's AML performance.
  11. Stay updated on emerging financial crime trends and adapt AML strategies accordingly.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on AML related topics for the organization.
  13. Foster a culture of compliance and risk management within the organization.
  14. Act as a liaison between the AML team and other departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  15. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in AML.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Anti-Money Laundering Regulations: A Business Manager At Capital One Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Aml Regulations At The Federal And State Levels, As Well As Industry Best Practices.

  • Experience In Risk Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Identifying And Mitigating Potential Risks Related To Money Laundering And Terrorist Financing. This Includes Conducting Risk Assessments And Implementing Effective Controls.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: As A Business Manager In Aml, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Identify Patterns And Anomalies In Financial Data That May Indicate Suspicious Activity.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Internal Teams, Law Enforcement, And Regulators In Investigating And Reporting Potential Aml Activities.

  • Experience In Managing Aml Programs: Previous Experience In Managing Aml Programs And Teams Is Highly Desirable. This Includes Implementing Policies And Procedures, Conducting Training, And Ensuring Compliance With Aml Regulations.
