Responsibilities:

1. Manage the accounting and financial reporting for the broker dealer business.
2. Maintain compliance with GAAP, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.
3. Develop and implement processes and systems to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
4. Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
5. Monitor and review accounting and financial activities.
6. Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
7. Prepare and analyze financial statements to present to executive management.
8. Provide guidance and support to other team members.
9. Monitor and review the accuracy of journal entries and ledgers.
10. Research and resolve accounting issues.
