- Oversee and manage all third-party vendors to ensure their security practices align with our company's standards and policies.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of new and existing third-party vendors to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement security assurance processes and procedures to ensure the protection of our systems and data.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate third-party vendors' security controls and practices to identify and address any potential risks or weaknesses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that third-party vendors are compliant with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Communicate regularly with third-party vendors to provide guidance and support in implementing security best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends to proactively identify potential risks and implement appropriate controls.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of third-party vendor security assessments and any potential risks or issues.
- Lead and train team members on security assurance best practices and procedures.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility within the organization.
Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices In Security Assurance - The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Knowledge Of Security Frameworks Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Cobit, As Well As Experience In Implementing And Maintaining Security Controls And Processes.
Proven Experience In Leading Security Assurance Programs - The Third-Party Security Assurance Lead Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Overseeing Security Assurance Programs, Including Vendor Risk Assessments, Due Diligence, And Ongoing Monitoring.
Excellent Communication And Relationship Management Skills - As A Key Liaison Between Capital Group And Third-Party Vendors, The Lead Should Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Security Requirements And Build Trusting Relationships With External Partners.
Technical Expertise In Conducting Security Assessments - The Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Technical Security Controls And The Ability To Conduct Risk Assessments And Vulnerability Scans To Identify Potential Vulnerabilities Or Weaknesses In Third-Party Systems And Processes.
Experience In Project Management And Process Improvement - The Third-Party Security Assurance Lead Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing Security Policies, Processes, And Procedures. Thus, Experience In Project Management And Process Improvement Methodologies Is Essential.
