  1. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on retirement planning.
  2. Assist clients in creating personalized retirement plans based on their financial goals.
  3. Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding retirement planning.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to retirement planning.
  5. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective retirement planning strategies.
  6. Conduct thorough analysis of clients' financial situations to determine the best retirement planning options.
  7. Educate clients on the features and benefits of various retirement plans.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and plans.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote client retention.
  10. Continuously strive to improve client satisfaction and exceed performance goals.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  12. Keep confidential all client information and adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements.
  13. Act as a brand ambassador for the Capital Group Companies by providing exceptional service to clients.
  14. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to promote retirement planning services.
  15. Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Retirement Planning: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Retirement Planning And Be Able To Provide Comprehensive Advice And Guidance To Clients.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As An Internal Retirement Plan Counselor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating Complex Retirement Planning Concepts To Clients In A Clear And Concise Manner. Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Relevant Education And Experience: A Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Position. Additionally, Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Retirement Planning Or A Similar Role.

  • Finra Licensing: The Candidate Should Hold A Valid Finra Series 6 Or 7 License, As Well As A Series 63 Or 66 License. These Licenses Are Required To Sell Securities And Provide Investment Advice.

  • Customer Service Skills: The Internal Retirement Plan Counselor Will Work Closely With Clients To Understand Their Needs And Develop Tailored Retirement Plans. Strong Customer Service Skills, Including The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships, Are Essential For This Role.
