  1. Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery plans for the company.
  2. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and create strategies to mitigate them.
  3. Lead response and recovery efforts in the event of a disaster, including coordinating with various departments and external partners.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to disaster recovery planning.
  5. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of disaster recovery plans with business processes.
  6. Manage and maintain the disaster recovery budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  7. Train and educate employees on disaster preparedness and response procedures.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans and make necessary updates and improvements.
  9. Act as a liaison with external agencies and vendors related to disaster recovery planning and response.
  10. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of disaster recovery plans.
  11. Foster a culture of preparedness and resilience within the company.
  12. Serve as a point of contact for any disaster-related inquiries or concerns from employees.
  13. Manage and lead a team of disaster recovery professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  14. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, regarding disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  15. Make quick and critical decisions during high-pressure situations to ensure the safety and continuity of operations for the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Disaster Recovery Planning And Management, Preferably In A Financial Services Or Related Industry.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Disaster Recovery Best Practices And Industry Standards Such As Iso 22301 And Nist Sp 800-34.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Implementing Disaster Recovery Plans And Strategies, Including Conducting Risk Assessments And Business Impact Analyses.

  • Extensive Experience In Managing And Coordinating Disaster Recovery Testing And Exercises, As Well As Leading Post-Disaster Recovery Efforts.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Management To Ensure A Comprehensive And Effective Disaster Recovery Program.
