Job Description

Capgemini is looking for a Release Train Engineer who is a motivated self-starter with an eye for detail and a passion for success. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, be highly analytical and have a knack for problem-solving.The Release Train Engineer will be responsible for orchestrating the successful releases of products and services. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective delivery of our products and services.We are looking for a candidate who has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as at least three years of experience in a release engineering, release management, or related position. Experience with source control and version control systems such as Git, Subversion, or Mercurial is preferred. Candidates should also have experience with build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Chef. Experience with Agile methodology, DevOps principles, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) is a plus.The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to quality and customer service, be a team player, and be able to work collaboratively with all stakeholders. The candidate should also have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and be comfortable working with stakeholders in different time zones.If you are excited by the challenge of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Orchestrate successful releases of products and services.
  2. Ensure the timely and effective delivery of products and services.
  3. Develop and maintain source control and version control systems such as Git, Subversion, or Mercurial.
  4. Utilize build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Chef.
  5. Execute Agile methodology, DevOps principles, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  6. Maintain a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
  7. Work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including those in different time zones.
  8. Manage interpersonal, verbal, and written communication with stakeholders.
  9. Monitor and report on project progress.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during the release process.
