- Provide technical support and service to Canon customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with Canon products, including cameras, printers, and scanners.
- Install, maintain, and repair Canon products at client locations, including homes, offices, and retail stores.
- Create detailed service reports and documentation for each customer visit.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for additional product sales or upgrades.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Canon products and technologies to provide the best support to customers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment while on the job.
- Maintain inventory of tools and equipment necessary for repairs and installations.
- Represent Canon in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Train and mentor new Field Service Technicians as needed.
- Continuously strive to improve and streamline service processes.
- Meet and exceed performance metrics for response time, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
- Maintain accurate records of all service calls and use data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and data protection.
Technical Expertise: A Field Service Technician Ii At Canon Should Possess Advanced Technical Knowledge And Skills In The Repair And Maintenance Of Canon Products, Such As Cameras, Printers, And Copiers.
Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Relevant Experience Working As A Field Service Technician, Preferably In The Electronics Or Imaging Industry.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role, As Field Service Technicians At Canon Are Required To Interact With Customers On A Daily Basis And Provide Solutions To Their Technical Issues.
Time Management And Organization: This Position Requires The Ability To Manage And Prioritize A Busy Schedule, As Technicians May Be Responsible For Servicing Multiple Clients In A Day. Strong Organizational Skills Are Crucial For Maintaining Accurate Records And Managing Inventory.
Certifications: Canon May Require Candidates To Possess Relevant Certifications, Such As A Comptia A+ Or Network+ Certification, To Demonstrate Their Technical Proficiency And Knowledge In The Field. Other Manufacturer-Specific Certifications May Also Be Preferred.
