Job Description

Handle all California, Illinois, U.S. and international employment matters for the Company. Assist, advise, and work closely with the company’s People team Draft and negotiate domestic and international independent contractor agreements. Draft and negotiate international employment agreements. Draft and revise the employee handbook and other employee-facing and compliance documents. Manage and resolve all HR compliance issues; and Report to the General Counsel.

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of employment law experience, additional experience welcomed

  • Experience at both a large law firm (at least 5 years) and in-house

  • Expertise in employment law, specifically for California, Illinois and New York, with familiarity of the laws of other US jurisdictions

  • Specialty in privacy regulations and compliance, including GDPR and CCPA
