- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom by accurately and efficiently receiving, sorting, and organizing merchandise.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overages to management in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Assist with fulfilling online orders and preparing merchandise for shipment.
- Ensure all merchandise entering and leaving the stockroom is properly labeled and tagged.
- Collaborate with sales associates to locate and retrieve merchandise for customers.
- Keep track of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving, unpacking, and processing merchandise.
- Communicate with vendors and other departments to resolve any issues related to inventory.
- Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to accurately identify and locate merchandise for customers.
- Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to stockroom processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with visual merchandising and floor sets as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
