  1. Develop and implement merchandise planning strategies in line with company objectives and global market trends.
  2. Create and manage merchandise budgets, sales forecasts, and inventory levels for assigned product categories.
  3. Analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute merchandise assortment plans.
  5. Monitor product performance and make recommendations for adjustments to maximize sales and profitability.
  6. Conduct regular store visits and communicate with retail teams to gather insights on product performance and market trends.
  7. Partner with buying and design teams to ensure product assortment and quantities align with company goals and customer demands.
  8. Manage inventory levels and allocations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to stores.
  9. Review and analyze historical data to make informed decisions for future merchandise planning.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform merchandise strategies.
  11. Train and mentor junior merchandise planners to develop their skills and knowledge.
  12. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure merchandise plans align with financial goals and supply chain capabilities.
  13. Maintain open communication with cross-functional teams and provide regular updates on merchandise planning initiatives.
  14. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges in the merchandise planning process and propose solutions.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve merchandise planning processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Merchandising, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Merchandise Planning, Preferably In The Fashion Industry

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Utilize Data To Make Strategic Decisions

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Other Departments And Global Teams

  • Proficient In Using Merchandise Planning Software And Tools, Such As Jda, Oracle Retail, Or Sap, And Advanced Knowledge Of Microsoft Excel.
