  1. Oversee and manage the flow of merchandise from distribution centers to store locations.
  2. Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
  3. Coordinate with distribution centers and store managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of merchandise.
  4. Develop and implement efficient processes for merchandise distribution, including forecasting, replenishment, and returns.
  5. Train and supervise a team of merchandise flow associates to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  6. Utilize inventory management software to track and analyze merchandise flow data and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as buying and planning, to ensure merchandise is ordered and received in a timely manner.
  8. Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify and address any discrepancies.
  9. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues related to merchandise delivery.
  10. Maintain a safe and clean work environment in the merchandise flow area.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in inventory management and logistics.
  12. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  13. Act as a liaison between distribution centers and store locations to resolve any issues or concerns.
  14. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to merchandise flow.
  15. Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns related to merchandise availability.
